Fish pie

Ingredients

  • white fish - 1/2 lb

  • salmon - 1/2 lb

  • garlic - 1 clove

  • onion - 1/2

  • carrots - 4

  • red chilli - 1/2

  • potatoes - 4

  • bacon - 1 rasher

  • mustard - 2 tsps

  • white wine - glass

  • cheddar cheese- 1 handful

  • rosemary

  • basil

  • butter - 2 tsps

  • salt

  • pepper

  • bay leaves - 2

  • cream - cup

  • lemon juice - 1/2 a lemon

Directions

In deep steel pot, fry bacon in butter and pepper.

When brown, add both fish and remaining ingredients. Reduce. Keep tasting and amend if necessary.

Place in 350F oven, closed, for 30mins.

Make mash potato. Take pot from oven, smooth potato on top of the fish and sauce mix, then bake for 15 minutes at 400C or until the crush is brown.
