Toad in the hole - nicer than it sounds

Ingredients

  • sweet Italian bangers - 6

  • flour - 1 cup

  • butter - 2 tbsps

  • eggs - 2

  • milk - 1 cup

  • salt

  • pepper

  • red chilli flakes

  • dijon mustard - 2 heaped tsps

  • rosemary, chopped - 2 heaped 2 tps

Directions

Heat oven to 425F

Whisk all other ingredients in a bowl

Cover and let sit for 30 minutes while bangers cook

Fry bangers until 80% done

Transfer mix into bangers

Cook until browned (30 minutes)

Serve with gravy
