This staple is easy to do and 'great with mayonnaise'. The key is to place the spuds in water beforehand.

DIRECTIONS

Take your spuds, peel, and cut into finger-shapes.

Place in luke warm water in a large bowl for one or two hours.

When you are ready to cook, put a coat of oil on a thin baking tray. Put on some salt, and maybe some paprika, and a few sprigs of rosemary. Put the oven on 300F and heat the tray.

Fry them fries at 300F for 30mins then 400F for 30mins. Turn every ten minutes (or more) to avoid sticking. Monitor and pull out when they look perfect. Dry with a paper towel (I never do this, but if you have supermodel guests they might like you more for it).

Serve with a generous dollop of fatboy sauce aka mayo aka who got the yayo?

mayo???
