Oy-Chi Matcha Gin

OK people. Confession time. This might be the most simple 'recipe' I've ever posted. But a bit like pâte, its dead easy and impressive, since it transforms itself in the manufacturing process. This is a recipe like a cup of tea is a recipe. But like a cup of tea, you might be thankful somebody told you how to make it.

Here is the complex two-stage method.

1) Get a green tea bag, and leave it in a bottle of gin for five days, then take it out.

2) Reflect on the simplicity of the process.

In my opinion the best tea going is Sen-cha Green Tea from Maeda-en. It's on Amazon Prime. Buy some now and it will get to you faster than I can finish this sen.....Cha delivered!

I recommend you use no lime in the gin and tonic using Matcha Gin. The lime makes it taste a bit more like every other G&T, and with no lime the long flavour of the matcha and the soft round tannins come towards centre stage.

Why is it called Oy-Chi? This means 'tasty' in Japanese. Try it out. You might agree.
